Hope Happens
Our Mission: To find a cure for ALS by funding progressive research and in the process create a new methodology for funding, researching and developing treatments for ALS and other neurological disorders.

Please Join the Hope Society

The Hope Happens Board of Directors cordially invites you to become a member of the Hope Society by pledging to make an annual gift of $1,000 or more to fast track the translation of basic research into cures for these devastating nerve-killing disorders. Disorders of the nervous system are the most common cause of disability for people of all ages. These disorders include:

Alzheimer’s Disease
ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease)
Cerebral Palsy
Multiple Sclerosis
Parkinson’s Disease
Stroke
Traumatic brain and spinal cord Injury

Your support is crucial to our progress. Federal funding for neurological disease research is not nearly proportional to the societal cost of these disorders, estimated at more than $400 billion annually in medical and related expenses.

Benefits of Hope Society Membership:
Recognition as a member of the Hope Society in publications.
Recognition on the Hope Society plaque at the Hope Center.
Satisfaction in the knowledge that you are partnering up with medical experts to make a difference.
Timely communications on pertinent news and programs.

Your investment as a member of the Hope Society goes toward:
Highly innovative research projects.
Projects too timely to wait for traditional grant funding.
Shared equipment and advanced instruments.
Efforts to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and the recruitment, training and support of new scientists.

Almost everyone of us has been touched by a neurological disorder.
Now we can do something about it.
Now we can help Hope Happen.
